Can I have access to the LTP service if I live outside Mexico City?

Yes. Any person can have access to the LTP service.

Who should I ask for once I arrive at the clinic or hospital?

You may consult here the recommendations for each medical unit.

Both in clinics and at hospitals make sure to deal directly with authorized personnel inside the facilities. Ignore anybody who is outside.

May I come to the LTP clinics if I am a minor?

Yes. You must come in the company of your father, mother, or legal guardian, who must be able to duly identify themselves. You may consult all requirements here.

Is the LTP service free of charge?

It is free of charge for every woman who is a resident of Mexico City.

I do not live in Mexico City. How much will I have to pay for the service?

A social worker will do a socio-economic study in order to determine the recovery fee you are to pay.

Can I use a family planning method after a LTP?

Yes, it is recommendable. Our medical personnel will assist you in choosing the one that is best for you. All contraceptive methods are free of charge.
