General Requirements

Requirements for Mexico City residents (adults)
- Official identification (the original and a photocopy)
- Proof of residence (latest property tax receipt, power, water, gas, cable TV, landline telephone or internet service bill) (the original and a photocopy)
- Free of Charge form (Hoja de gratuidad). A social worker will help you if you do not have one.
- A companion with her/his official identification (the original and a photocopy)
- Hospitals may request the optional CURP (Population Registration Code) and/or birth certificate
Requirements for minors
- Birth certificate (the original and a copy)
- CURP (Population Registration Code) (may be printed from this website)
- Recent Photo ID (school ID or school diploma) (the original and a photocopy)
- Proof of residence (latest property tax receipt, power, water, gas, cable TV, landline telephone or internet service bill) (the original and a photocopy)
- Be accompanied by the mother, father, or legal guardian with an official photo ID and proof of residence (the originals and a photocopy of each)
